Like so many people around the world, CG Strategy has found itself operating in a completely virtual environment.  To keep our team and their families safe we transitioned to a remote work model which  has significantly shifted the way we work and collaborate as a team.

Soon after shifting to a remote work approach, we found that it was the little things we missed most! Before COVID, we would host Friday team lunches together in  our conference room. Each week this was an opportunity for us to pause our work and join together as a team. Since events such as this didn’t translate well to the remote work environment, we identified new ways to stay connected. We now host virtual Friday game lunches, morning coffee talks, team workouts and yoga sessions, and mini happy hours. We also strive to strike a balance between work and personal life by creating the space to disconnect from our computers and take breaks when needed.

This year has taught us a great deal about navigating and applying a lens of positivity and adaptability to facilitate team collaboration.
